It started in Columbus in the Summer of 2008 as a way to bring the Columbus IT Community together over a few drinks. Three years and three additional midwest cities later, IT Martini is a can’t miss cocktail hour for anyone working in, or interested in working in, technology.
IT Martini’s mission is simple: to grow the IT Community in cities everywhere! This Thursday, May 26, is the 17th IT Martini, themed “Swing with Agility,” acting as the unofficial finale to the Path to Agility. The event will be held at Park Street Cantina.
I’ve been to every IT Martini in Central Ohio, as well as more than my fair share of other “networking” events, so believe me when I say this one is actually a fun time – and one that can lead to lucrative connections if you’re not just in it for the libations (I am.) A crowd of 1,000 is expected, so… bring extra business cards.
