watershed distilleryWatershed Distillery debuted in 2010 with a small still, two simple spirits — vodka and gin — and just duo Greg Lehman and Dave Rigo to run it all. Five years later they’ve grown quite considerably, offering new products like bourbon and Nocino, adding staff to their once two-person team, and doubling their space, and the Grandview Heights distillery is about to grow again.

Watershed announced today plans to purchase a new still with the goal of running their current still and the new still simultaneously, quadrupling the current production capacity.

In order to make space for the new equipment, Watershed will be increasing the square footage in their Grandview distillery by over 30%. Watershed has increased its employee count by 100% in the past year, growing from just six at the end of last year to 12 today.

“We’ve set some high goals for the team for the rest of this year, and the new still and increased square footage will ensure that we can meet those goals and create even more momentum going into 2016,” said Lehman in a statement.

Watershed Distillery is located at 1145 Chesapeake Avenue.
