Watershed Distillery brought back high honors from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition

The distillery won the “Best Flavored Gin” category for their Guild Series Chamomile Flavored Gin, which was created in collaboration with The Guild House in 2015. The gin also earned the Double Gold designation, which is awarded to entries that receive gold medal ratings by all members of the judging panel.

“One of the coolest things we get to do as distillers in Columbus is work with other amazing people and businesses in the community,” said Watershed co-founder Greg Lehman in a statement. “We had a great time working with the team from Cameron Mitchel’s on a signature gin for their Guild House restaurant. Seeing it win double gold in San Francisco makes us feel great about what we are doing and the caliber of people in this industry here in Columbus, Ohio.”

The 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition was held from April 13th through April 15th. The 2018 Competition featured a record-breaking 2,469 spirit entries from all over the world.

Guild Series Gin is available for purchase at The Guild House in the Short North and at Watershed Distillery’s bottle shop, located at 1145 Chesapeake Avenue.
