After a year of barrel aging, Random Precision Brewing Company’s sour beers are ready to release.
The brewery, which opened its taproom doors in March in Northwest Columbus, will be unveiling seven new sours at an event this Saturday.
The launch lineup includes a red raspberry golden sour, an apricot golden sour, a tart cherry red sour, a black current red sour, a plum and orange sour stout, a cocoa nib sour stout, and a golden sour aged in a tequila barrel with lime infused sea salt.
In addition to the new sours, the brewery will have on tap their Misconstrued Sarcasm Brett IPA, Bending Towards the Sun Berliner Weisse, and Hiding in Plain Sight Gose, as well as a few guest drafts of non-sour beer. A limited number of barrels will also be available for “adoption” as part of the brewery’s Sours & Staves Club.
Random Precision is one of several sour-focused breweries to pop up in Central Ohio, including Pretentious Barrel House and Antiques on High, the latter of which opens next month.
Random Precision Brewing Company is located at 2365 West Dublin Granville Road.
